Bill is an Independent Financial Adviser, based in Edinburgh who aims to providing holistic advice around your financial planning needs for you as an individual, a partnership or as a company.
Bill started Scotia Wealth Management Ltd to ensure that we follow the ethos of providing advice that is suitable for your needs now and for the future.
Bill joined the financial services industry in 1992, since then he have worked for major life companies, local IFA practices as well as national firm of IFA’s. Although Bill provides advice on all aspects of financial planning, he is known as a pension specialist with the nickname of “Mr Pension”, due to his passion about pensions. Bill advises other IFA’s in regard to their clients pensions as well as even some of their own pensions, all because of the complex nature of retirement planning.
Bill is now retired from his involvement with the Royal Naval Reserve, as a reserve officer, based at HMS SCOTIA in Rosyth. In my spare time Bill is involved in charity work and in what spare time he has left, Bill keeps fit by running and playing golf, although still need more time dedicated to both if he is to improve.

George has been providing financial advice to clients since 1985. George joined Scotia after being one of the partners of Beauchamp & Hofmann, who joined us in March 2016. As well as being an IFA, George is also the company mortgage specialist. Outside business, George enjoys browsing for bargain antiques, hill walking and folk music, being a keen mandolin player.

Mark offers over 20 years extensive experience as a Financial Adviser and Relationship Manager in financial services. Mark offers advice on all areas of financial planning and supports clients to formulate and understand their plans for the future. His clients appreciate the straight forward, easy to understand advice and support he provides.

Mark joined Scotia Wealth Management sharing common aims to provide a gold standard service offering unbiased advice. He is Diploma qualified financial professional, CeMAP qualified, and a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland.

Outside work, Mark is married and has two cats. He is a trustee for two charities and provides support to other charities with his professional knowledge. Mark enjoys keeping active, and is a caller with Sporrandipity Ceilidh band and enjoys golf, walking, and running (completing his first marathon in 2016).

Graeme has worked in financial services since 1984 and has been an IFA since Financial Services regulations began in 1988. Graeme has extensive experience in all aspects of personal financial planning, with particular interest in investments and some years of experience working with expatriated clients.
Graeme is married with two daughters, when not working, he can be found under a pile of grandchildren or culture vulturing, walking, swimming, golfing and treading the boards in amateur dramatics.

Jamie has worked in financial services since 2014 and is now a qualified independent Financial Adviser. Jamie joined the Scotia team in April 2023 and is looking forward to supporting clients through their financial journey.

One of Jamie’s main objectives is to learn about his client’s journey and understand what lifestyle they wish to have now and in the future. Once Jamie establishes this, he can use all the financial planning tools available to help clients achieve their lifestyle goals.

Outside of work, Jamie manages and plays for an amateur football team based in Musselburgh. He also enjoys an occasional game of golf but must devote more time to improve his game!

Bill has over 30 years of experience in the Financial Services industry, and have been helping clients from all walks of life during my career. At Scotia Wealth Management Billy specialises in Mortgage and Protection advice.

Jacqueline joined Scotia after working for a major insurance company. She is enjoying the challenge of working within a small more flexible organisation. She is about to start increasing her knowledge by taking the chartered insurance institute exams.

I recently joined Scotia having worked in administrative roles in financial services for over 35 years and am enjoying being part of the Scotia family.

I am married with two grown up daughters and love spending time with them and all my extended family.

In my spare time I enjoy cooking, walking, quiz shows and watching movies.

Ellie joined Scotia after moving to Edinburgh from London where she worked in a similar role. She has settled well into the team bringing knowledge and a different perspective. She is currently studying the next Chartered Insurance Institute exam and aims to become a qualified paraplanner.

Katarzna or Kate joined Scotia as maternity cover, after moving from Warsaw, Poland, where she had worked in the banking sector. She enjoys Scotia’s inclusive organisational culture and takes up new challenges with an open mind and “Can-Do” attitude. As a lover of poetry, she likes to search for antique books and embraces Scottish culture and people with the sense of an enriching and pleasant adventure, calling Scotland her home. As a wife and mother of two teenagers, Kate appreciates a family-friendly Scotia’s business model.

When you are feeling down and you need a happy thought, Ruby will provide a wag of her tail to make life seem so much better.
